According to sources close to Wynn Las Vegas, all manner of offal is hitting the fan over there. Wynn spokespeople have yet to respond to a detailed set of allegations, which include:
Twenty boxmen and other floorpeople being sacked Friday morning and led off the property. Supposedly, no reason was given and the unluckly 20 were told they could quit or be fired. Way to improve employee morale, Steve!
$90,000 worth of chips, dropped on Sunday, didn’t show in the day’s chip tally.
Red tip envelopes, dropped into baccarat boxes during Chinese New Year, have allegedly gone missing.
Also, counting up of tips has apparently been taken away from the toke committee, with any discrepancies being ruled in favor of the resort.
If anyone has any information that can further prove — or disprove — these allegations, I urge them to come forward.
